Take a QuickBooks company out whole.

The Exporter reads a QuickBooks Online company and writes every transaction as the document it was: invoices as invoices, bills as bills, payments linked to what they paid. Not one big journal entry.

Everything, as it was

  • Lists come out first: accounts, customers, vendors, employees, items and more, inactive ones included.
  • Every transaction comes out as its own type, with the links between them: payments to invoices, bill payments to bills, deposits to the payments they banked.
  • An Excel workbook with one readable sheet per type, plus the raw data.

Checked before you rely on it

  • The counts read are compared with QuickBooks' own counts.
  • Every link is checked inside the file, every document's lines are checked against its total, and every journal entry is checked to balance.
  • The file includes the trial balance, and names anything QuickBooks would not hand over.

Read-only, for admins

  • Exporting changes nothing in QuickBooks.
  • Only an owner or admin can run it.
